About the R.S.C. Choir

Our inspiration

Southern Gospel is a genre of Christian music that developed in the southeastern states of the United States and became known as „quartet music“. 4 men and a piano is the traditional instrumentation. Inspired by the southern gospel and the increasingly popular worship genre, we have come together with musicians and singers from different nations and genres to interpret this – rather unknown form of gospel in our own way.

Der southern Gospel ist ein Genre der christlichen Music, der sich in den southeastern States der Vereinigten Staaten entwickelt hat und als „Quartett-Musik“ bekannt wurde. 4 Männer und ein Piano ist die traditionnelle Besetzung. Inspiriert durch die den southern Gospel und dem zunehmend an Beliebtheit gewinnenden Worship Genre haben wir uns mit Musikern und Singenden der unterschiedlichsten Nationen und Genres zusammen gefunden um diese – recht unbekannte Form des Gospel auf unsere Weise zu interpretieren
